The Energy Community Ministerial Council will take place in Ukrainian capital Kiev on Tuesday. The Council meeting will be chaired by European Commissioner for Energy Günter H. Oettinger and the Ukrainian Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan, whose country holds the current presidency-in-office of the Energy Community.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk will speak at the Opening of the Council meeting.
The meeting will focus on the functioning of the Energy Community and its reform under the Presidency of Ukraine. Special attention will be given to the future shape of the Energy Community in light of the challenges to the security of supply in Europe, the European Commission said on Monday.
