Greaterfireisland.com took Marshall Brown of Save the Great South Bay on a tour of the waters around the Old Inlet breach Friday afternoon.
The inlet held up reasonably well in Tropical Storm Hermine, with the exception of Pelican Island, which as of Friday was no longer visible.
