NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Police across Connecticut responded to dozens of accidents during the snowstorm, including a collision involving a snowmobile and a snowplow that injured a 17-year-old boy.
East Haven police say the teenager suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to a hospital Thursday morning. Authorities say he could face charges including operating a snowmobile on a public roadway.
In unrelated incidents Thursday, a Connecticut transit bus and two vehicles crashed in New Haven and a de-icing truck caught fire at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks.
Police said two people in the bus crash were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Authorities say the truck fire at the airport is under investigation. No injuries were reported and airport operations were not affected.
