It’s the time of year where the stress of the looming end of the semester has everyone feeling drained. There’s papers to write, tests and quizzes to take, presentations to give and all the other tasks that school entails. Not to mention, with the holiday season approaching, there are also lots of social gatherings. In this time it’s important to remember to care for yourself. Self-care does not have to be a long day at the spa or a long day relaxing. In fact, it could be as simple as a ten-minute face mask. Freeman’s face masks are a really quick and inexpensive way to treat yourself after a long day. They offer a wide variety of products and there is bound to be something just for you. For the purpose of this article, I decided to try 3 of their single-use masks to tell you guys which one I liked best.

POLISHING charcoal +black sugar gel mask and scrub

Formulated with purifying activated charcoal and black sugar, this mask is perfect to get rid of all the grime after a busy day. The charcoal does an excellent job of absorbing the oil from your skin and helps minimize your pores. Unlike the other two that I tried, I did not immediately see the results of this make but my the next morning I could really see that my pores had shrunk. Application of this mask was a bit messy so it would the best to apply this when you are near a bathroom sink. While the mask was on, there was a warm tingling feeling that was very soothing. I would definitely recommend this mask especially if your skin is starting to show signs of breakouts.

REJUVENATING cucumber + pink salt clay mask

This cucumber and pink salt mask make any at home spa day feel like a real spa day. The cucumber and pink salt mixture does an excellent job of exfoliating and cleansing your skin without being too harsh. The smell of this mask was fantastic and the application was not messy at all. Perfect for use in your dorm or even while you are studying. Once the mask is on there is a cooling feeling, it is a bit tingly as the mask is drying but you can tell its working. Just add cucumber slices over your eyes and kiss the stress of the day goodbye.

Rating: 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND !!

DEEP CLEARING manuka honey + tea tree oil clay mask

This mask smells so heavenly and left my skin feeling really clean. The manuka honey and tea tree oil does a really great job controlling the oiliness around my t-zone and help minimize my pores. This one like the charcoal mask would be best if applied in the bathroom where there is a sink. The mask can be a bit drying so I would only recommend for people with oily skin or if you are experiencing breakouts.

I think it is pretty clear which of the mask was my favorite but just to reiterate the REJUVENATING cucumber + pink salt clay mask is a must try. I liked all of the masks and will definitely use them again in the future but the cucumber + pink salt mask is perfect for creating a little moment of serenity in the rather stressful time.
