Donald Trump, billionaire businessman and frequent political pundit, went on a Twitter rant about President Obama’s failure to properly address the growing Ebola threat, ultimately calling on the White House head to step down from office.

Mr. Trump shaped his criticisms around the revelations of the New York doctor who just tested positive for Ebola — after he flew in from West Africa and roamed American streets, openly and untested, Newsmax reported. His first tweet came hours before the doctor’s diagnosis was made public.

His tweet: “If this doctor, who so recklessly flew into New York from West Africa, has Ebola, then Obama should apologize to the American people & resign!”

Three hours later, Mr. Trump followed with another Twitter message.

“Ebola has been confirmed in N.Y.C., with officials frantically trying to find all of the people and things he had contact with. Obama’s fault,” he wrote, Newsmax said.

Mr. Trump then went on a bit of rant against the president.

“I have been saying for weeks for President Obama to stop the flights from West Africa,” he tweeted, Newsmax said. “So simple, but he refused. A TOTAL incompetent!”

And then this: “I never thought I’d say it in my lifetime, but President Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Sotoro, is a far worse president than Jimmy Carter!”
