Three months ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared: “As the Taliban held some talks with the US, it should hold these talks with Turkey much more comfortably. Because Turkey has nothing that contradicts their beliefs.”
And now, Turkey has welcomed Taliban leaders into its country, indifferent to the fact that the group earned the infamous title of “world’s deadliest terrorist group” in 2018.
Turkey is doing all it can to help its jihadist Muslim brothers, while trying to be subtle about urging others do the same. Yet still, Turkey is denying that its gesture implies formal recognition. That’s because Islamic supremacists know that Western leaders are easily manipulated, so it’s a much easier sell to present “engagement” with the Taliban as helping them out with their “humanitarian crisis.” “War is deceit,” said Muhammad (Bukhari 52:269). That is precisely Turkey’s approach, even though its leaders are well aware of the Taliban’s beliefs. Turkey’s leaders generally share the beliefs of the Taliban, as well as their vision of a global Islamic caliphate. Erdogan has made no secret of his own ambition of reviving the Ottoman Empire.
The Taliban is no different from the Islamic State, al Qaeda and the Iranian regime. It is a brutal jihadist group which aspires to establish the Sharia in Afghanistan, then regionally, and ultimately, globally. The Taliban could never be a legitimate group except to those who share its jihadist beliefs. Nonetheless, Western leaders have an embarrassing reputation of genuflecting to jihadist groups and leaders, in the name of tolerance and peace. Jihadists readily exploit this weakness.
“Turkey urges engagement with Taliban after talks with group,” Al Jazeera, October 14, 2021:
Turkey has called on the international community to help the Taliban overcome Afghanistan’s humanitarian crisis, officials said after holding talks with the group’s leaders, adding that this does not imply formal recognition.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu received his acting counterpart Amir Khan Muttaqi in Ankara on Thursday, as Afghanistan’s new government continues its diplomatic push for support.
Speaking after the closed-door talks, Cavusoglu urged international engagement with the Taliban.
“We have told the international community about the importance of engagement with the current Taliban administration. In fact, recognition and engagement are two different things,” he said.
“The Afghan economy should not collapse. Therefore, we have said the countries that froze Afghanistan’s accounts abroad should act more flexibly so that salaries can be paid.”
The World Bank halted funds to Afghanistan after the Taliban swept back to power in August. The international community has condemned the group’s actions in some provinces, where they brought back public hangings and barred women and girls from going to school or returning to work.
Turkey has sought to use its position as the only Muslim-majority member of the NATO defence alliance to secure a greater role in Afghanistan after the US troop withdrawal….

“Correction, it is I who will be the biggest worm on the heap. But first, hand over some do-re-me and threaten to send millions of our smaller worms across the borders if we don’t get it in large pallets from everyone else.”

Erdogan is slowly but surely making his move to re- establish the ottoman empire. He wants to form alliances with as many islamic countries as he can, and this is what he’s up to here.

As the ruling fascist party of Turkey said they have nothing against the ideology of Taliban, we must expect that Turkey will move to sharia soon. Women will be forcibly covered, anything Western will be banned and those who oppose them of course will be labeled as traitors or enemies of Islam. And again of course the Turkish nationalists who lost their mind long ago will be supporting Erdog’s policies of global Islamic-fascist caliphate…

This picture of those jihad -minded Muslim leaders who are shaking hands is a reflection of the Bible prediction about the fall and doom of such evil men.
For it is written “Though hand join in hand , the wicked shall not be unpunished..” Proverbs 11:21.

The Taliban regime is not much different from Turkey, so why blame Turkey for formalizing a relationship that most of us knew about already? Turkey wants back its caliphate, and they think the Afghans might recognize them. They may well be right about that one
Oskar says
According to your logic: why blame ISIL for murdering non-Muslims? Why blame Erdogan for converting churches? As most of us knew already?
Does knowing how the perpetrators will act forbids for us to blaming them?

This is ironically the same Turkey that regularly blasts the US (and occasionally the EU) for “supporting terrorists” which in Erdo-speak simply means talking to any kurdish or other civil society /Human Rights group in Turkey that is at oods with the regime. Meanwhile Turkey has been partnering up and assisting virtually every single islamic extremist group on the planet from west Africa jihadis to Hamas and now the Taliban.
