Blumberg Capital survey examines consumer behavior, AI opinions

Blumberg Capital’s 2022 AI survey examining consumer behavior and attitudes on artificial intelligence (AI) maintains there is a generally positive perception of how AI can improve experiences across varied areas.

The data company Dynata conducted a series of surveys targeting 1,000 U.S.-based consumers over the age of 18 for Blumberg Capital.

“AI solutions are creating a positive impact on our lives, as practical applications of AI become more innovative and prevalent,” Blumberg Capital Founder and Managing Partner David J. Blumberg said. “Amid mass adoption of AI solutions and growing trust among consumers, entrepreneurs are building innovative ways for deploying AI to increase security, productivity and access to benefit individuals, businesses and society at large.”

The analysis showed that consumers better understand the benefits of AI; consumer trust in AI’s impact on securing personal information has increased; AI possesses the ability to improve workplace productivity; and AI has improved customer service.

Authorities noted AI continues to serve as a technology priority across industries amid companies pivoting from pandemic-driven initiatives to long-term productivity and growth. They also cited increasing investments in AI solutions that target increased productivity and enhanced security.
